Gmaildefault fails with aggregate news site

description

Gmaildefault works most of the time for emailing a link to an article, but for some reason it doesn't seem to email a link from a "news aggregator" such as lewrockwell.com. I'm trying to email a link to an article in lewrockwell.com, i.e., "https://www.lewrockwell.com/2015/07/walter-e-williams/the-war-of-1861/" but nothing but blanks come up on my AOL email letter. "Lewrockwell.com" by itself can be emailed as a link, but not an article within it.

I found that the line in my address bar for my desired linked article https://www.lewrockwell.com/2015/07/walter-e-williams/the-war-of-1861/ is:
https://mail.aol.com/webmail-std/en-us/composemessage?to=&subject=The%20War%20of%201861%20%96%20LewRockwell.com&body=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lewrockwell.com
%2F2015%2F07%2Fwalter-e-williams%2Fthe-war-of-1861%2F&cc=&bcc=
-when I delete the "%96" it works fine.

I really like this program. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks,
Rusty A.
